Robert
J. Maloney
Vice President
Manager of Affinity Marketing - National Sales
Rob joined Liberty Mutual in June of 1983 as an Account Service
Representative in the Albany, New York office. In April of 1985,
he was promoted to Sales Representative. He was promoted to
Sales Manager in July 1988 in Pittsburgh, PA were he was named
Manager of the Year in 1990 and 1992. In July of 1993, he was
promoted to Director of Hiring and Training in Home Office. In
June 1994, he was promoted to Assistant Regional Sales Manager
of the New York Region based in the Syracuse, New York office.
In May 2000, he was promoted to Regional Sales Manager of the
New England Region in the Westborough, Massachusetts office. He
was promoted to the position of Assistant Vice President and
Director of Field Sales Operations in November 2001. He assumed
his current position in November of 2003.
Rob is a graduate of Siena College with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Business Administration and Accounting.
Rob resides in Hopedale, Massachusetts with his wife Patty and
their three children, Christopher, Connor and Kathleen.

Assistant Vice President
Business Segment Manager - Employer Groups
Chris is currently the Assistant Vice President and Business
Segment Manager - Employer Groups within Liberty Mutual’s
Affinity Marketing team. His principal strategic
responsibilities include managing the growth, profitability,
client satisfaction and broker relationships associated with his
business unit. Chris joined Liberty Mutual in 2002 as an
internal strategy consultant responsible for advising multiple
business units enhance revenue generation and manage risk.
Within the commercial lines national accounts division, Chris
developed the business strategy to launch a new WC and Business
Auto service product as well as deployed quality initiatives to
improve retention of key accounts. Chris also served as an
integration manager during Liberty Mutual’s acquisition of
certain elements of Prudential’s personal lines property and
casualty operations.
Prior to joining Liberty Mutual, Chris was a GE Aircraft Engines
Risk Manager and led a multifunctional deal team charged with
underwriting large transactions. Prior to transferring to GE
Aircraft Engines, Chris held a variety of positions in GE
Capital’s structured finance, real estate, and insurance
business units, as well as GE’s investment operations and GEC’s
business development group.
Chris graduated from the FW Olin School of Business at Babson
College as the valedictorian of his MBA program, and earned a
Bachelor of Science in Finance degree, summa cum laude, from
Bentley College.
